In addition to traditional storytime programs, the St. Louis Public Library offers Music and Movement Storytime sessions that encourage early literacy through active play. These programs invite children and caregivers to sing, dance, stretch, and move together while building language and listening skills through music and rhythm. Music and Movement Storytime is held on Mondays at Buder Library from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. and on Thursdays at Central Library from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., providing families with engaging, no-cost opportunities to support learning and physical activity during the winter season.
